How We Work. Our Mission & Values

Hambrick grew up in Nashville and was mostly raised with his many cousins. His mom passed away when he was young and after that he was with his siblings and cousins, often in church or at family reunions. At one concert, he was one of 300 voices.
“I am not a ‘performer,’ ” he said with a chuckle. “I’m just a worshiper. I’ve been singing in choirs and such since I was a small kid. I love music.”

Chief Hambrick was presented with a plaque of resolution from Senator Mark Pody and State Representative Susan Lynn for his 28 plus years of service.

“This CD is proof of what can come from opening your heart, to hear what the Lord wants you say. The Lyrics are true and resonate with so many people. “Somebody’s Gotta Tell them” is my personal favorite. The City of Mt. Juliet is blessed to have a City Song, “Community Strong”. It is a wonderful song that will represent our City, and a legacy for Pastor James Hambrick and his family. Thank you for your beautiful music!”

“***** Love, Love, Love, this CD! We are so blessed to have such a talented, humble, and godly man leading the City of Mt. Juliet. I can feel God’s anointing in the words, and music. All of us are going through things in this world, and I happened to be in the middle of one of those storms of life. I got my CD and put it in for the ride home from work, and I laughed, I praised, I cried, and I had church! Very inspirational! "

Tina G.

"The new CD is so smooth and inspirational, easy listening and one that you can do a family road trip up the highway with sounds that everyone will enjoy. Somebody's Gotta Tell Them will be a classic for many years to come."

Cowan Davis

“I am thankful for God; he is still our God,” he said. “I am encouraged by Him and my faith has strengthened and has grown, and deepened this past year. I have my family and my beautiful wife and feel blessings on what God is doing through His word.”
